Around Every Corner

i got home from Holland a few hours ago. as we speak, 2 of the 3 sets of photos that i shot this weekend are being uploaded. they will still need to be edited and published before you get to see them but i figured that i would let you know that i am on it. i decided to throw chronology to the wind and start with my street art shots first. this was so mainly because the street art in amsterdam was so amazing and i had so much fun shooting it that i wanted to see the fruits of my labor. the steve earle show from the paradiso and the 2 days with zeina were also immensely fun to experience and document and, if im being honest, i can tell you that i am also very excited to share those shots with you but i am only one person and i had to start somewhere…

i have plenty to say about the weekend but it’s late and i need to be smart tomorrow so i’m going to call it a night after i share some of my personal found art favorites from the ‘dam….i highly recommend that you take a few minutes to check out the whole set though…

seriously, it was like unwrapping a gift around every corner. the wonderful thing about the graf in amsterdam is how subtle most of it is and, when not subtle, how respectful it is of the rest of the aesthetics in town. props to zeina for not being bored by my need to stop frequently to snap a pic. again, these are just a few of the pix that i happen to like but you might find your very own favorite if you decide to take a peek.

though i am serious about needing to take some time with my other photos before i expose them to the world, i do have two (non-street art) shots that i love, love, love and want to share. the hope is that these two photos will pique your interest so you come back tomorrow to see and read more about my adventure.

there we are, cleverly coordinated in clashing berets and happy to be in the same city again. and, to leave you i will post, what i think is, my favorite photo from the whole weekend.

(this photo is BETTER BIGGER)

i am happy to be back in austria with my boys and will look forward to sharing more with you later.
