It would have been something sweet if you could have seen me riding my bike to the vet the other day with Walter. He made some noise about it but I think he secretly like the wind in his ears and the fresh air. Dr. Fabio Ferrari fixed him and the tab for the whole ordeal made me grateful that he got sick in Austria and not in New York City.
I’m pretty sure that I haven’t mentioned this before but, amidst the quaint and charming houses and mountains surrounding my flat in Wattens there is also this…

Hard to imagine but it is an enormous metal curtain that stretches the entire length of Swarovskistraße all the way to my place. I thought it looked nice with the überblue sky last night and snapped a couple pix. This little town is full of surprises…I also found the Schreibsmachine Museum. For real. A museum devoted to typwriters. I am really digging the photograph that I took of it and have a feeling that the photo might be more interesting than the museum itself…unless you’re into writing instruments, I suppose.

It’s ironic that, with Holga and 5D, I headed out to take pictures and a careless move found me picking up the back of my Holga off the sidewalk and exposing all the film that I shot with it in Tulfes the other day. Kind of a bummer since I think I had some good stuff on there…I might still try to get it developed anyway and see what comes of it. This freakin’ elf saw the whole thing happen…

Hope you enjoy your weekend!!
